The MultiPlus-II combines the functions of the MultiPlus and MultiGrid into one inverter/charger — PowerAssist and self-consumption optimization from the MultiPlus, plus built-in anti-islanding and grid country approvals from the MultiGrid. This 48V, 5000VA model is a key building block for a Victron Energy Storage System (ESS), pairing with MPPT solar chargers or grid-tie PV inverters for flexible, expandable off-grid or grid-interactive systems.
