Victron MultiPlus-II 12/4000/160-50 120V

The Victron MultiPlus-II 12/4000/160-50 is the largest 12V inverter/charger Victron builds — 3.4kW of continuous output and a 160A charger in one UL 458 listed box. It is the natural step up from the 12/3000 for vans, coaches and boats that need to run an induction cooktop, a rooftop air conditioner or a high-draw tool without moving the whole system to 24V or 48V. PowerAssist boosts a limited shore power or generator connection with battery power during high-load moments, and on a shore power or grid failure it transfers to inverter power in under 20 milliseconds — fast enough that connected electronics keep running without interruption. Pair it with a GX device such as the Cerbo GX for full remote monitoring and control from the VRM app, from anywhere in the world.

Which version do you need? This is the single-output 120V model, the right choice for a standard 30A or 50A single-leg shore connection. If your rig or boat has a 50A 120/240V split-phase inlet and you want both legs live off the inverter, use the MultiPlus-II 12/4000/160-50 2x120V instead. Two 120V units can also be stacked for 240V split-phase output.
